TIS I -- THE FOOL aka METRICE

A WARM WELCOME ON THIS, MY CHAOTIC JOURNEY

For those just seeing/ knowing of me, my name is Metrice Bell. I am an aspiring Web Designer/ Illustrator located in Milwaukee, WI–I currently work from home. Despite having worked in the public sector for the past almost 3 years+ and being mostly capable of handling such, I do find my mental state suffering from such stressors that come with it.

04/02/24 - STATUS UPDATE

As of 08/28, I now work from home, but not before my scooter tragically lost the war against our city's Horrid Infrastructure. RIP my friend, you will be missed, because the company that owns you and gave me the limited warranty are extremely difficult when it comes to letting people send their scooters in for repair, and have terrible communication. In other news, I am now Google IT Support certified thanks to Merit America, and I am also now $5700 further into the hole due to education lmao (I wish I had been born overseas, where they actually care about students wallets...). 

My next focus is either Java or Korean (which I have started and is kicking my butt with these subtle pronunciations). Also invested in a new HP envy laptop, so I might try to re-teach myself Maya, since there is a lower risk of my PC suffering damage like what happened to my MacBook while I was in that masters program in 2022. There's a lot of things I have to deal with for the next two years I guess, and I might as well start somewhere.
